MISS THOMPSON'S DRESSMAKING CLASS

I had an email forwarded on to me today and amongst the other old photos was this one of Miss Thompson's dressmaking class way back in 1925.  If Miss Thompson was around today I would be the first to sign up for her class.  I wonder what they're making.  Don't you just love those shoes.

  1. Love the shoes, and they were probably so comfortable. I always look at the shoes my mom wore in her young days in the photos.
My son took a class in sewing in the 60s and made a leopard fabric pair of bell bottoms. He was the only boy in the class which he loved, but best of all he got to cook too!

  2. What a gorgeous old photo. I love the treadle machines they are using, and yes the shoes are cute and could even be trendy for today.
