Another day of torrential rain here at my place yesterday definitely meant I was destined to be indoors, so I decided it was time to explore my latest fascination with fabric baskets. Like my rag rugs, there was a surprise element between the original fabric and the way it looked at the end of the project. I was pleasantly surprised by my first attempt and I had this cute little basket to show for it. It's basically clothesline wrapped in fabric and then zig zagged together. So Woolies, here I come to get another 15m of clothesline to see what I can produce today.
Gosh Val thats so creative! did you actually sew through the clothesline? is it the clothesline with the plastic on the outside? wow I am amazed everyday by so many talented women on these blogs and you are one of them!

That is terrific Val... I have been wanting to have a go at making one of these for quite awhile... I did buy the clothesline... but the question is where did I put it... LOL
